Eldership academy Internship
The Eldership Academy Internship Program offers opportunities for those interested in learning how to work experientially and humanistically with people. It is also designed to teach those interested in how to support elders living in a caring and loving environment that reflects the true value of who they are.

Ayurveda: an ancient system of life and health as a new vision for supporting and healing our elders.
Whether living as a couple, alone at home, or in an elder community, the expectation for our elders today is often limited to maintaining their status quo in health and quality of life. We mostly do not have a vision that strives to improve health, that strives to better the quality of life of elders.
Here Ayurveda, the 5000 year old ‘science of life’, takes a different stance. Following time tested programs and methods, Ayurveda emphasizes that we can enhance our lives through intelligent food choices, natural medicines, lifestyle and behavioral changes.
In addition, by paying attention not only to the needs of our bodies but also to our emotional and spiritual nature, we can deepen who we are and make use of our aging process as a time to know ourselves and understand the world in which we live, connect more deeply with our nature.
We welcome you to learn about Ayurveda and how it can improve the lives not only of our elders, but that of all of us humans, including your own.

Zen Caregiving Project is a non-profit organization whose mission is to support caregivers and enhance the experience of care for them and their care recipients. We do this through teaching mindfulness and compassion as practical tools to improve well-being and build emotional resilience.
